On the spot Health services
Street children are vulnerable section of the social sector and seek concern and help from people from all sectors. These children are found to shelter in various areas of Kathmandu such as Kalimati, Bagbazar, Kalopul, Dillibazar, Old Bus Park, New Bus Park, Gaushala, Koteshwor and under the bridges of Bagmati, Bishnumati rivers. A team of health assistant, peer educator and caretakers visit these places and provide basic first-aid and health care services to street children. The team cleans wounds, puts bandages and provides necessary medicines. A three wheeler tempo is also used for the same.

Awareness on Health and Sanitation
As most of the street children are into drugs like marijuana, habit of taking tablets and sniffing dendrite etc., it is important to aware these children about such hazards. The team provides information and orientation to street children on how to take care of their own health, how to maintain daily hygienic food habits, HIV/AIDS, drug abuse etc.

Post service activity
There is regular follow up health facilities to the children. The team refers ill children to concerned hospitals for major treatments. CWCN also admits interested children to its education Centers which provide shelter, education, life skill trainings and familial environment.
